Addy took her first trip to Pike Place Market on Sunday. It's not really a great picture, but it is still a nice record of such a momentous occassion! =)

Addy has been taking us to several events in the parks recently - here we are on Saturday's outing just before watching Happy Feet. This was at the Kirkland Marina. We arrived just before sunset and were able to watch nature's own show before the movie began. What a perfect evening!

A couple weeks ago, Addy figured out how to make her music player play. Just a couple days ago, we noticed that now her feet have figured it out as well. On and off and on and off and on and off.

Addy has become more aware of the cats recently. She seems to like their soft fur when they actually let her get close enough to pet them. Here are Addy and Credit in a showdown. Very soon after this picture Credit got spooked and ran away.

Addy will soon be going to the pool! While she likes the water, we thought that it would be good to give her a dry... er, wet run in the tub first. She seems to be happy as a clam... or maybe a crab! =)

Mom's Little Helper

Addy rode around like this for a little while yesterday as I cleaned the house. She seems to enjoy being up and I like the fact that I can move her hands free!

Now that Addy has discovered mirrors, her mirror rattle has become one of her favorite toys. Even just hanging out in the swing, you see that it's close by. I guess she's getting practice for her teenage years!

Addy has recently become interested in the mirror on her play jungle. She'll spend several moments just staring and smiling into the mirror. We don't know if she realizes that she is seeing herself, but she sure is happy to see the face staring back at her.

Family date

We decided to try and beat the heat today (even though today's temps are supposed to be much cooler than yesterday's) and went to the Baby Screening of Harry Potter. Adam was able to go in late to work, so it worked out perfectly to have a family date out. Here's a pic of my two cuties.

It's HOT! (104 to be exact)

Because Seattle isn't used to this type of weather, most of the houses in the area aren't air conditioned (ours included). Even so, Addy really doesn't seem to mind the heat as she plays peek-a-boo with her blanket.

Where we've been

We've been visiting Adam's family in Wisconsin over the past week. I think that Addy met more people over the last few days than she had met in her previous 4 and a half months!
