Well hello there!

This picture didn't exactly turn out like I planned... When I pull up a picture of Addy on the computer screen, she always just smiles away at it. I tried to take a that picture (Addy smiling at a smiling Addy), but I soon found out that Addy was ore interested in the camera than she is her smiling 'reflection'. So for now, here's a pic of Addy squared!

When Addy hears her door open in the morning, she scrambles to look between the bars of her crib to see who is coming to free her from her crib. This morning it was Dad who wanted to play a game of peek-a-boo!

Addy and Grandma Johnston

Grandma Johnston visited Addy over the weekend. We had a lot of fun - Addy learned more about shopping =) and enjoyed her time with Grandma J!

Addy long legs

I've embraced my crafty side and have made Addy some homemade Babylegs. On my first try, I found out that we paid about $9 too much for the $10 sewing machine that we bought a few years back for small sewing projects that sometimes present themselves (though the fact that I didn't find that out until now shows that these projects don't present themselves very often). No biggie though - I just started sewing them by hand. They're made with love and are a ton of fun!

Fire station trip

Addy and I went to the fire station on September 11 for a tour. Above are pics of Addy on our way (note her bow - because she was in red, I tried to make sure that it was apparent that she is a girl (though the final attempt looked pretty silly and actually didn't last long anyway)) and the two of us next to the engine.

The cutest thing about this picture is what happened after I took it. Even though she never opened her eyes and or interrupted her nap, Addy smiled!

She has a tendency to break out a huge smile at the light of the flash when she's awake... I guess it's become an automatic response!
