Of course, Addy has a lot of actual toys, but she seems (for right now at least) to prefer to make her own from everyday items. She has also adopted an unwrapped CD case and a spindle of DVDs for toys as well.

Sammamish Commons dedication

This weekend our new City Hall had its dedication ceremony. It's quite a place - with a skate park, several acres of pretty, a playground and a few ball fields. The entire area is called the Sammamish Commons and we think that it will be a great place for Addy (and us) to play as she grows.

Salmon run

We went to see the salmon run over the weekend. We were a little late in the season so we didn't actually see any real salmon, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the festivities. Above, you'll see Addy's nifty salmon hat and her first 'taste' of 'fish' as she decided that her hat went better in her mouth than it did on her head.

Pumpkin patch (revisited)

Yesterday was a bright and beautiful day. We took advantage and went to the pumpkin patch. Addy got quite the haul. We hope that she's ready to learn how to carve! =)

Addy is finally getting enought hair to play with. I spiked her hair yesterday for fun. She must have known what I had done because she posed for this picture right after. She looks like quite the handful here, I think. No worries though - it's all only for the camera. The angel returned after the camera disappeared!
